2023-04-25 Online Quiz Contest: Crack A Lock in CAL’s Services and Resources


To celebrate the upcoming 2nd anniversary of the Center for Academic Literacy (CAL), an event will be held with a quiz and prize draw. Participants will have a chance to win excellent books on academic English writing and speaking!

Theme: Crack A Lock in CAL’s Services and Resources
Through this event, we hope to help students to be more familiar with the services and resources provided by CAL, as well as encourage more students to use CAL’s tutoring services.

Information:
1. Activity Duration: From now to 15th May, 2023
2. Drawing Time: The draw will be held in mid-May, and the results will be announced on CAL’s Facebook page.
3. Participants: Students and staff from National Taiwan Normal University

Rules for participation:
1. There may be more than one correct answer in each question, and all answers can be found on CAL’s official website (https://www.cal.ntnu.edu.tw/).
2. Participants who answer three questions correctly will receive one virtual raffle ticket.
3. Participants who answer all questions correctly will receive two virtual raffle tickets
4. Each person can only fill out the Google form once.
5. CAL reserves the right to amend the rules and to cancel the activity, as well as the right for the final interpretation of the event.

Prizes: There are a total of 12 excellent books on academic English writing and speaking, and two winners will be drawn for each book. The book titles are detailed on the poster.

Rules for collecting the prizes:
1. The Center will contact the winners by mail, and they should go to the Pu 102 office on the main campus to collect the prize.
2. If the winner does not respond to the letter or collect the prize within one month after the draw, the prize will be forfeited.
3. A copy of the form will be sent to the email address you provided. Please show the form and your ID when collecting the prize.
4. Winners can collect the books, and non-winners can also receive a souvenir from the Center as a participation prize.
